Holidays in Nisyros

Our small island, Nisyros, remains a peaceful and alternative destination in Dodecanisa. This is the ideal place for total calmness and privacy. Nisyros island is mostly famous for its still active volcano that is found in the center of the island, the youngest volcano in Greece. Mandraki is the main village of the island with picturesque traditional houses built by the sea.  Another village next to the sea is Paloi known as the "fishermen village".Nikia and Emporeios are the villages located in mountains of Nisyros with traditional architecture and great views of the volcano. The beaches are clean and due to the limited visitors they have a relaxing atmosphere. The island can be visited for holidays or as a day trip from Kos.
